Mike Shock: I started my real estate career while watching my Mom and Dad when I was a young child. When my Mom and Dad moved from a house to a new house they would try and keep the old house and rent it out. So, when we would sit around the dinner table I would hear conversations about real estate. What did we have to paint this weekend? Who didn’t pay their rent? Who is going to get evicted if rents were not collected? When I was 18, I asked my Mom and Dad “how can I start investing in real state” ? Their answer was “get a job, save money and then buy a house”. But I knew there had to be a better way.  So when I tried this real estate thing on my own I would be the person that would call a seller, go see the properties, and then sit at my dining room table not knowing what to do next or how to put an offer together. I thought the words “Hard Money Lenders” meant guys will come break my legs. I had absolutely no clue. After several years of going the “FREE” route or trying to figure this out on my own, I went and found a mentor. It wasn’t until I got educated that I understood how easy it was. When someone helped me and held my hand and walked me through my first deal I said “WOW THIS IS EASY”.. From there, the floodgates opened and now I have done hundreds of deals. I’m sure I was just like you. "I didn’t know what I don’t know"and the fear was so great and held me back from making any offers.  Also, I had nobody to ask questions to.  But when my mentor showed me exactly what to do each step of the ay. It was like adding the missing piece to the puzzle. What I thought to be impossible before, was now doable!!!

Matt Fullerton:  I worked with Express Homebuyer in acquisitions. I was promoted to Acquisitions manager and then Director of Sales and Acquisitions over the course of the first year. Myself and the COO turned around a company that was hemorrhaging money trying to do 20 flips at a time with a bad contractor and about to go under, to a wholesale operation that averaged over $1mm in wholesale fees per month. I left EHB in 2018 after a new CEO came on board and it became clear the culture he was installing wouldn't be acceptable to me. I started Chesapeake House Hunters with a partner, Darryl Wilson, right after leaving Express. We used some pretty innovative strategies to make just shy of $1mm in wholesale fees in our first year, and we've done well this year despite COVID. My ex wife and I also have a business, F6 Properties, LLC. It's a flipping operation, and we do 2-3 flips on average per month, and I wholesale the properties we decide not to flip. She's the driving force of that operation with design, project management. I primarily function in an acquisitions and dispositions role and am less active in the project management and design. It's a good partnership. I've also done some consulting on the side. Mainly helping businesses build and train an effective sales team. I led and helped Tarek El moussa rebuild his entire main sales operation in CA, promote the right people, fire the wrong people, and bring in replacements that would get the job done. It was a mess when I began my contract and after 90 days we had installed a much better leadership team, sales process, and culture. They're doing much better now, and you can see the houses they buy on his show! 
Shane Bloyer is a Real Estate Investor who  has been wholesaling since 2005. Shane has been involved in hundreds of deals and created millions of dollars in assigning properties. He is also actively involved in 
teaching and mentoring wholesaling  students. Shane believes in the power of positivity , encouragement and relationships and has worked tirelessly to help many people get their real estate deals done. Shane is a committed husband and father and truly enjoys spending time with his family at his waterfront home in Middle River, MD.
Mike Casey, owner of Casey Investment Group based out of Linthicum Heights, Maryland, comes from a family with a longstanding history in real estate. Mike began his real estate career in 2012 wholesaling properties in Baltimore while also working for a real estate auction company. Shortly after, Mike shifted his focus to primarily rehab flips and building a rental portfolio consisting of residential rentals, apartments, and short term vacation rentals. More recently, Mike again shifted in his real estate ventures to focus primarily on commercial endeavors, including self storage, parking, and industrial lots.

Chris Haddon began his career in real estate finance with a large commercial bank where he learned the business of lending, real estate, personal and commercial finance. Mike Wagner: After spending 6 years and a quarter of a million dollars earning three degrees, Mike entered the real world as a Physical Therapist. And while he enjoyed the rewards of that profession, he quickly realized that other people (ie- his bosses) had more control over how he spent his time than he did. With that, Mike turned to real estate as a way to regain control of his time.
Between 2007 and 2010 Mike deployed what is now known as the BRRRR method (Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat) to build a portfolio of 31 one apartments and though he did so pretty quickly and was making money, it became clear that this strategy was not getting him where he wanted to go fast enough. And, he was getting more burnt out by the day. He was working 40 hours a week at a J-O-B that he no longer loved and then chasing rents and managing contractors on nights and weekends.
Knowing something had to change, Mike made a pretty dramatic transition to self storage in 2011. He bought an under-performing storage property and quit his job to turn it (and his life) around. Since then, Mike has used storage to achieve a level of freedom and lifestyle (for himself, his wife and his kids) that many believe is out of reach. He made over $1 million on each of his first three properties and now owns a free and clear self storage portfolio worth almost $4 Million
Mike is determined to prove that anyone can use ordinary garages to create an extraordinary life! Toward that end, he started the Storage Rebellion in 2018 which has quickly become the premier self storage training organization as well as the most robust self storage investing community in the country!
Terry Royce: is the host of The Self Storage Playbook Podcast, based in

Ken Holmes: After graduating college and bumming around the world for a while as a raft guide and ski bum, Ken began his business career in 1987 as a real estate appraiser. He began buying rentals a few years later and flipped his first house in 1995.
He has been self-employed for about 20 years and has owned appraisal, property management, and investment real estate businesses. Over the years Ken has mastered many types of real estate investing; rehabs, rentals, development as well as self-storage. He has seen low interest rates and high. He has seen buyers markets and seller markets. He has adjusted his investing strategies again and again to meet the different investing environments. His most recent adjustment lead him directly to Self Storage, the most efficient asset class on the planet.
In his first 3 years in the storage industry, Ken has purchased $3.2 Million of under valued storage assets that have a combined stabilized value of right around $6 Million Dollars. And he did so using none of his own money! He now has way more time to spend with his wife, kids, and hobbies. He loves to enjoy the great outdoors by whitewater kayaking and camping.
